SUPER TWO THUMBS UP FOR WHENG!
SO HOW DO YOU CHOOSE AN HMUA FOR YOUR WEDDING? For me, I asked around who does a good make up then next would be how much would the cost be? So here's a short story of what really happened during my toxic wedding preparation. Due to word of mouth and referral, I got to book a gay hmua without any trial, yes, silly of me to give him a downpayment without any trial make up. I trusted two important people who referred him to me. So, why not? Came my pre-nup, was supposed to have a trial with this gay hmua, guess what? "hindi daw sya nagigising that early, sorry!" okei fine, got to be cool, i understood and just opted to have my trial with him on my video pre-nup. Plus, I made a down payment already, sayang naman. I GOT WHENG THRU A FRIEND. Was already having wedding jitters plus my supposed to be trial with my booked hmua did not push thru = bridezilla! I called wheng, SUPER PROFESSIONAL KAUSAP. She's even willing to dropby my house at 4a.m. just to be sure that I won't be late for my pre-nup at Binondo. I was the one who declined, geez... that would be too early. So my make up with wheng was great. CHECK OUT THE PHOTOS AT HER PAGE PRE-NUP SHOOT. Then came the month of May, was trying to get in touch with my 'supposed to be hmua'. WOW! HE WON'T ANSWER MY CALL AND TEXT MESSAGES. WAS PLEADING HIM TO BOOK ME FOR A TRIAL. Yes, a client who made a down payment, trying to beg for a schedule with the one of a kind hmua. Ooohhh... by the way, he replied: 'Yes, will try to book you.' After tormenting days of waiting for his hectic schedule, I called and texted and again, DEADMA ang bading! MY LAST TEXT WAS: can you please schedule me next week for our trial (THIS WAS FIRST WEEK OF JUNE AND MY WEDDING DATE IS JUNE 25!). He didn't call, he replied the following morning: 'Sorry, my partner who's going to do your hair is not available next week' OOOHHHH!!! NAG LEVEL DOWN na patience ko. I immediately called wheng and almost cried over the phone. I booked her! I left this gay hmua hanging but mind you... he was not apologetic at all.... I will not mention his name here with due respect to wheng.
Came my wedding day, wheng with his team was really early they arrived before 7am but the shoot would be at 11 a.m. and wedding is at 3p.m. HOW PROFESSIONAL! There were plus factors, like super gaan nya kausap, she even was the one who put my veil, arranged my gown, super re-touch! We had a deal that she'll just meet me at the reception for the re-touch, guess what, she went at the church and did a lot of re-touch on me because it was soooo hot that time! Came the pictorial after the wedding, re-touch again! Then lastly at the reception, she let my hair down, did some re-touch again. Super woman!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND wheng! My name is at stake here... Lol! Just look at the photos of how she made me feel I am on top of the world on my wedding day! =)
